U19′s in National Age Group qualifiers this weekend in Gloucester…

Our U19′s team travel to Gloucester G1 Lesisure centre this weekend for the qualifying round of this year’s Swim England National Age Group competition.

The team are drawn in Group B alongside City of Manchester, Scottish side Caledonia & local side Cheltenham.

For the team to make the finals weekend of the 14th & 15th April in Manchester the team will need to finish as one of the top two sides in their group.

The competition starts on Saturday afternoon with a game against Manchester & then on Sunday Morning against Caledonia & finishes Sunday afternoon against Cheltenham.

We take a team of thirteen players to Gloucester & Head Coach Edi Brkovic at the last session on Wednesday at Woodside had his young side practicing Man Up / Down against the Men’s team.

Edi commented after the session “The guys are ready for the weekend and we can make the finals if we stick to our gameplan & work hard in the moments when things get tough”.
