The game began with Beckenham scoring first but we responded to level at 1-1, Beckenham then worked themselves into a 3-1 lead after some lapses in the Watford defence however with 4 mins of the period remaining we hit three unanswered goals to snatch the lead at 3-4. Our goals came via a Zach White double and efforts from Jack Warman and Cameron Baker.
The second period saw the host level at 4-4 but a penalty converted by James Warman and a breakaway goal from Adam Page on the eve of his 18th Birthday had us 4-6 in front again Beckenham hit back and levelled the game once again at 6-6 but another goal from James from man-up and a neat 2m goal from John Pickford had us two clear st HT at 6-8.
At the start of the 3rd period Beckenham scored to reduce the deficit at 7-8 but our attack was now starting to find holes in the Beckenham defence and a double from Page in 23 seconds had hos side three up at 7-10. With three mins remaining in the quarter both sides traded goals upto 9-12. The two Watford efforts came via Andy Holt and a John Pickford penalty.
The final period and Beckenham came out of the blocks all guns blazing and scored twice to pull within one at 11-12. It was vital we got the next goak and from a man-up advantage James Warman found the back of the net for 11-13.
A double from Zach soon after either side of a Beckenham goal had Watford three ahead at 12-15. With the hosts still pushing they forced a penalty of their own on they nect attack and converted for 13-15.
